Evolving Solution Services is seeking a Senior Director of Finance to lead budgeting, forecasting, and daily financial operations for a nonprofit-focused organization. You will supervise AP/AR, oversee monthly closes, and present financials to the CFO with actionable insights.

The role requires GAAP knowledge for nonprofit finance, grant management experience, and a track record of building robust financial KPIs. Strong Excel skills and leadership abilities are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting required.
• Minimum 7 years in finance with at least 3 years in leadership.
• Experience with nonprofit sector and government grants funding.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual budgeting, planning and financial forecasting processes.
• Administer and review daily financial operations and prepare entries for CFO review.
• Prepare budgets-to-actual reports and grant management reports.
• Supervise Accounts Payable and Receivable; ensure timely monthly bank reconciliations.
• Lead monthly closing and present financial statements post-closing to CFO.
• Develop and maintain financial KPIs and support audit and 990 processes.
