Job summary

Owens Corning is seeking a strategic Global Manufacturing Financial Director to lead the manufacturing finance function across the Doors business. The role reports to the Vice President of Finance, Doors, and oversees a 7-person direct team within a 37-person finance organization, driving profitability and consistency across the manufacturing network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or relevant discipline a must.
• Minimum of 10 years of demonstrated leadership in manufacturing finance
• Demonstrated leadership in organizations with multiple channels and/or manufacturing operations and has led strategic planning, operations planning, investment analysis and executive-level business reviews
• Demonstrated experience in attracting, developing, and retaining outstanding talent and successors
• Ability to function expertly in a highly-matrixed structure across functional, business, geographic and cultural boundaries
• MBA, CMA, CPA preferred.
• Strong leadership experience to organizations within a manufacturing operation(s)—leading operations planning, savings, forecasting and investment analysis
• Operating in a range of economic conditions, i.e. expansion, contraction, stable economic conditions—forecasting, scenario planning, risk analysis and contingency development
• Developing business cases and enrolling leaders at all levels in taking appropriate action
• International experience: Global exposure and experience working with international teams
• Strong financial and analytical acumen
• Corporate finance and manufacturing costing principles, understands P&L and balance sheet dynamics, principles of cost control/management
• Develops and uses knowledge of customers, competition, and the market to drive business decisions
