Job summary

Vaco by Highspring seeks a strategic, hands-on Director of Finance to partner with executive leadership in driving financial performance, planning, and operational decision-making. You will lead budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and process improvements to support growth.

This role requires 8+ years of finance experience, CPA/MBA preferred, and a track record of delivering actionable insights across multi-entity or project-based environments.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience.
• Strong FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting experience.
• CPA and/or MBA preferred.
• Experience partnering with leadership to drive business decisions.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.

Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Develop management reporting, KPI dashboards, and financial analysis.
• Partner with leadership to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Support monthly financial reporting and performance reviews.
• Monitor cash flow, working capital, and overall financial performance.
• Drive process improvements, reporting enhancements, and system optimization initiatives.
• Evaluate strategic projects, investments, and business initiatives.
• Mentor and support members of the finance and accounting team.
