Job summary

Zelle HR in Omaha, NE is seeking a Head of Strategic Finance (Director level) to partner with the CEO and leadership team. You will build the financial models guiding capital allocation, product and market investments, hiring, pricing, and M&A decisions, and serve as a key adviser on resource allocation and growth initiatives.

You will also lead due diligence for acquisitions, fundraising preparation, investor and Board reporting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.

Qualifications

• Proven strategic finance leader who drives business decisions beyond reporting.
• Advanced financial modeling and analytical skills with actionable insights.
• Experience building frameworks for multi-product/market organizations.
• Deep understanding of SaaS business models and blended tech stacks.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage financial planning models: bookings, revenue, ARR, cash flow, and headcount planning.
• Design reporting frameworks and contribution margin analysis for strategic insights.
• Lead annual planning, forecasting, runway analysis, and scenario modeling.
• Prepare executive materials, board reports, and investor presentations.
• Advise CEO on resource allocation and growth initiatives.
• Partner with leaders on pricing strategies and unit economics insights.
• Lead financial diligence for acquisitions and post-merger integration.
• Support fundraising, debt financing, and capitalization strategy.
• Create tools to evaluate opportunities across staffing, product, and investments.
