Job summary

Flatrock is seeking a finance leader to oversee the Finance department, manage month-end close, and ensure accurate financial reporting for multiple homes.

You will review AR/AP aging, prepare monthly statements and reports for government agencies, support audits, and partner with leadership to drive budgeting and financial planning. This on-site role requires CPA preferred, a bachelor’s in accounting/finance, and strong communication, with occasional evening hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field.
• CPA license preferred.
• Experience with QuickBooks Online.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Finance department and staff.
• Review AR/AP aging reports and resolve issues.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Assist with budget preparation and variance analyses.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and reports for government agencies.
• Assist with annual audits and external reporting.
