Facing Forward to End Homelessness seeks a Director of Finance to lead accounting, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, cash management, and internal controls for a national nonprofit focused on housing and services.

This role partners with the Executive Director, Board of Directors, and program teams to strengthen financial decision-making, ensure compliance with GAAP and grant requirements, and sustain long-term fiscal health.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field; Master’s preferred.
• CPA or related certification preferred; nonprofit experience valued.
• Seven+ years in accounting/financial management with leadership.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Oversee GAAP-compliant financial reporting and cash management.
• Maintain internal controls and oversee audits, taxes, and compliance.
• Lead and develop the Finance team and collaborate with leadership.
