Job summary

Fairbanks Morse Defense in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Controller to lead financial reporting, accounting, and consolidations. You will report to the Finance Director and partner with cross-functional teams to drive growth and ensure accurate financial outcomes.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's in accounting or finance, CPA preferred, at least five years in manufacturing finance, strong GAAP expertise, and proven leadership. Experience with government accounting is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required; CPA desirable.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and recent changes; manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establish and improve financial reports and metrics.
• Collaborate with leadership to explain results and drive improvements.
• Coordinate and manage annual budget and forecasting processes.
• Oversee audits and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Lead and develop the finance team through recruitment and coaching.
