The Controller in the Houston office will oversee day-to-day accounting operations, ensure timely financial reporting, maintain strong internal controls, and build a high-performing accounting team. Reporting to the Director of Finance, the role partners with cross-functional leaders to support business decisions, drive process

Qualifications

• Experience leading accounting operations.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and IFRS.
• Experience coordinating internal and external audits.
• Ability to mentor staff and manage budgeting/forecasting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations (AP, AR, GL, payroll).
• Manage monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting for the region.
• Analyze financial performance and variances against budget.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP/IFRS and company policies.
• Coordinate audits (internal/external) and respond to findings.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes.
• Oversee tax planning and regulatory compliance.
• Support HR duties and develop finance staff.
