Job summary

Wieland North America, Inc. in Pine Hall, NC is seeking a Controller to partner with North American sites and support financial activities for the Thermal Solutions unit.

You will provide insights by interpreting data and trends to aid decision-making, participate in monthly reporting, and drive process improvements. You will coordinate operational and strategic planning, collaborate with leaders across locations, and engage with corporate finance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in economics, finance, or business administration with finance coursework.
• 5 years of experience in controlling/finance.
• 5 years collaborating with cross-functional teams as a business partner between Finance and business units.
• 5 years in controlling and FP&A in multinational settings with full spectrum of business units.
• 5 years with SAP BI, MS Office, and SAP S/4HANA FI/CO modules including reports.
• 5 years applying accounting standards including HGB in reporting.
• 5 years setting goals, analyzing data, and reporting to leaders.
• 5 years supporting CAPEX decisions and modeling to financials.
• 5 years budget planning in a multinational company.
• 3 years implementing Power BI reports.
• 3 years using consolidation software for reporting.
• 2 years managing finance staff.
• Advanced Excel proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Act as a business partner supporting NA financial activities for Thermal Solutions.
• Provide management insights by interpreting data, trends and external factors.
• Participate in monthly reporting, perform variance analyses, discuss actions.
• Coordinate operational and strategic planning.
• Lead finance-led process improvements and special projects.
• Collaborate with leaders, sales, ops across locations and corporate finance.
• Support implementation of corporate guidelines and policies.
• Serve as business partner to support decision making.
• Hybrid work schedule may be permitted.
• Occasional travel to Wieland US facilities.
