Job summary

US Oncology Network-wide Career Opportunities is looking for a skilled Controller to manage the financial aspects of a physician-owned oncology practice. This role involves leading financial management, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and simplifying complex financial insights for physicians.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, extensive finance and accounting experience, and strong leadership skills in a healthcare setting. The competitive compensation ranges from $150,000 to $185,000 based on experience and includes a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role.
• Experience in a healthcare or physician practice preferred.
• CPA and/or MBA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes according to GAAP.
• Translate complex financial data into clear insights for stakeholders.
• Manage tax compliance, capital requisitions, and insurance coverage.
