Job summary

Dental Crafters Network is seeking a Controller to lead the accounting function and partner with the executive team to drive financial strategy. You will own financial reporting accuracy and timeliness, supervise the accounting staff, and ensure strong internal controls.

The Controller will oversee AR/AP, budgeting, cash forecasting, and ERP systems, providing analysis to optimize EBITDA and working capital.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; CPA preferred but not required.
7+ years accounting experience, including 3+ years in supervisory or managerial role.
Proven ability to build and lead an accounting function that acts as a business partner.
Proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems.
Strong data analysis and metrics-based reporting skills.

Responsibilities

Directly supervise the accounting team; set priorities, review work and ensure accountability.
Ensure accuracy of all accounting records and confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
Establish sound internal financial management controls and continuously improve procedures across the accounting function.
Serve as administrator for all ERP systems; lead ERP conversions, migrations, and updates.
Prepare and review monthly financial statements and other reports with stakeholders.
Analyze daily/weekly/monthly reports of key financial and operational metrics.
Perform variance analysis on financial performance for management.
Assess performance against budgets with functional leaders.
Prepare and communicate budgets to management.
Oversee cash forecast and strategies to enhance cash flow and working capital.
