Job summary

LSU is seeking a Business Manager reporting to the Department Head and the Associate Dean for Fiscal Affairs. The role will manage all fiscal and administrative matters of the department independently, ensuring expenditures remain within budgets and funding sources are available.

The incumbent will educate faculty on funds management and implement and adhere to all relevant rules, regulations, and procedures related to the department's administrative and financial operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• Four years of relevant professional level experience.
• Degree in other area with +3 years relevant experience; Master's in business can substitute for 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Manage all fiscal and administrative matters of the department independently.
• Educate the faculty on funds management and compliance with relevant rules and procedures.
• Ensure expenditures stay within budgets and available funding sources; maintain fiscal integrity.
