Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support the CFO's decision making by building scalable financial insights and reporting across Amazon's global operations.

You will design new analyses, own reporting definitions, and partner with Accounting and Finance to deliver accurate close, planning, and variance analysis. MBA/CPA and SQL/ETL experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience.

Responsibilities

• Design new financial insights and enhance existing financial reporting that enables informed decision-making for senior leadership across Amazon's global operations.
• Present ad hoc business analysis and recommendations to senior management by diving deep to build analyses, models, and narratives with broad scope that deliver results.
• Own corporate finance reporting definitions and ensure consistency across the finance organization, monitoring for accuracy and establishing processes to audit data and reporting.
• Serve as a liaison between accounting and system teams to drive accurate close, navigating across organizations to identify the right teams to participate in discussions.
• Recommend improvements and provide scoping documents for system enhancements, identifying opportunities to implement large-scale financial solutions that simplify finance tools, technology, and processes.
