The role blends deep financial analysis with hands-on close activities, including journal entries and reconciliations. You'll delve into margins, cost drivers, and operational workflows to guide strategic decisions.

You will partner with operations leadership to surface process improvements, quantify financial impact, and contribute to external reporting and audits as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Solid knowledge of US GAAP and multi-entity accounting.
• Experience with general ledger close, reconciliations, and journal entries.
• Advanced Excel with large data sets; strong data analysis skills.
• ERP systems and financial reporting tools experience; CPA or CPA-track preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly analysis for two subsidiaries, including P&L, margins, and cost structure.
• Investigate variances with root-cause explanations tied to operational drivers.
• Develop entity KPIs and reporting for management visibility.
• Analyze cost behavior: fixed vs. variable, labor, freight, shrink, and inventory costs.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning for the entities.
