Job summary

Elanco is seeking a Financial Analyst for Manufacturing Operations at its Elwood, KS site. The role focuses on delivering robust financial governance, reporting, planning, and decision-support to improve site gross margin.

You will partner with site and corporate management, coach non-financial staff, and influence cross-functional decisions. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Finance/Accounting, 5+ years in finance (MBA acceptable), and strong Excel and SAP experience.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years in a financial role (or MBA in finance with strong business support/controllership).
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and strong analytical/problem-solving skills with a basic understanding of manufacturing concepts.

Responsibilities

Ensure a 'true and fair' view of site financial position by managing monthly, quarterly, and yearly closes in US GAAP, Elanco policies, and SOX expectations.
Help deliver business planning and forecasting processes (12-month plans), including demand, headcount, capex, and expense requirements.
Drive production profitability by performing 'what-if' analyses on raw materials, equipment cycle times, and staffing; benchmark against other sites.
