Job summary

Elanco, a global leader in animal health, invites applications for a Financial Analyst – Manufacturing Operations at the Elwood Manufacturing site in Kansas. This role partners with site and corporate leadership to strengthen financial governance, drive cost management, and guide capital and operating decisions for optimal gross margin.

You will perform weekly volume analyses, evaluate process changes, and conduct yield analysis to improve production efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in a financial role (MBA in finance acceptable).
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and strong analytical/problem‑solving skills with a basic understanding of manufacturing concepts.

Responsibilities

• Ensure true and fair view of site finances by managing monthly, quarterly, and yearly closes per US GAAP, Elanco policies, and SOX.
• Lead strategic planning: 12-month and long-term plans including demand, headcount, capital projects, and expenses.
• Drive profitability through what-if analyses on materials, equipment, staffing; benchmark against other sites.
