Qualifications

• Seven years of relevant experience or a Bachelor's degree in related area plus three (3) years of relevant experience.
• Thorough knowledge of finance policies, practices, and systems; budgeting and reporting techniques; fund accounting; accounting and bookkeeping.
• Ability to independently gather required information to organize and perform financial analysis assignments with risk assessment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to train large groups and present complex information clearly.
• Proven ability to use spreadsheet/database software for complex financial analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Support SOM Dean’s Office allocations, commitments, fund transfers, and fiscal reconciliations with data entry and in-system updates.
• Prepare financial analyses, projections, and reports to inform resource allocation and long‑term planning.
• Assist with gift, endowment, and funding portfolio monitoring and reporting for stewardship of funds.
• Collaborate with campus and Health Sciences partners to support resource-based processes and data integrity.
