Job summary

Vistage is hiring an Analyst, Strategic Finance in San Diego, CA. This full-time role blends strategic finance work with FP&A, providing analytical support to leadership and exposure to private equity, M&A, and data analytics.

The candidate will partner with executives to gather and analyze data, prepare monthly metrics, and assist in due diligence and planning. The position offers a hybrid work model and a focus on growth and strategic impact.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of investment banking, strategy consulting, corporate FP&A, or related experience.
• Excellent strategic, analytical, and problem solving skills.
• Experience in BI tools in a data rich environment (BI360, Tableau, SQL, Power BI) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Gather, model, package and present data to help the business make data informed decisions and grow intelligently.
• Perform ad hoc analyses and communicate insights to functional business leaders to action.
• Prepare monthly financial & operating metrics reports for executive team, private equity investors and board members.
• Participate in due diligence, financial analysis and financing of acquisition targets.
• Identify, investigate, and communicate risks and opportunities impacting the business.
• Own the financial management over a number of Vistage’s revenue and/or cost categories.
• Help improve forecasting accuracy and run variance analysis for actuals vs. budget & forecast.
• Drive the annual planning and new investment submission processes.
• Leverage technology to provide data analytics services to provide timely, accurate and actionable data to help drive insights, solve business problems, drive value, and gain strategy.
