Job summary

Advanced Micro Devices in Santa Clara, CA, seeks a Finance Manager to partner with leadership on accounting activities, close processes, and strategic financial analysis. You will own variance analysis, contract reviews, and prepare exec-level presentations while driving scalable, data-driven processes with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree preferred.
Strong finance and accounting background.
Experience with SOX and audits.

Responsibilities

Consolidate / Coordinate monthly and quarterly close and activities with finance team. Own exit call evaluation and variance analysis
Lead long term planning initiatives tied to AoP, LRP, HC planning
Key Finance stakeholder for contract reviews to SVPs and CEO. Own strategic deal analysis to influence decision making
Develop slide presentations and present to exec-level audience on financial results
Create and implement business mechanisms that are scalable to help the team make data-driven decisions. Able to identify manual processes and work with cross-functional teams to develop a better solution
Build rhythm of the business processes that help business leaders understand progress to goals as well as strategic insights to guide overall direction
Perform ad-hoc analysis proactively
