Job summary

Lehigh County Authority in Allentown, PA seeks a Business Analyst who can translate complex financial data into actionable insights. Working on site with the CEO, you’ll own financial analyses that shape water and wastewater services across Lehigh and Northampton counties.

You will build executive dashboards, model growth and rate structures, and lead grant analyses. This role offers ownership, independence, and the chance to partner with leadership to drive strategic decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, economics, finance, data analytics, or related field required
• 2+ years of experience in business strategy or financial analysis
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with BI or ERP systems a plus

Responsibilities

• Act as a thought partner to the CEO on emerging priorities and own projects
• Build and maintain executive dashboards and reporting for leadership
• Untangle complex revenue and cost-recovery questions for stakeholders
• Lead analysis of rate structures, affordability metrics, and customer assistance programs
• Research and manage grant applications from submission through reporting
• Benchmark performance against peer utilities and bring best practices to leadership
• Evaluate growth opportunities and build financial models behind them
