Job summary

This role supervises Finance, Operations, and HR, partners with the Head of School and Board, and communicates complex financial information clearly to trustees, families, and staff.

You will build dashboards and models to inform strategic decisions and ensure financial sustainability.

Qualifications

• Strong budgeting, accounting, audit, internal controls, cash management, and financial reporting skills.
• Advanced Excel and data analysis skills.
• Experience managing teams and working across departments.
• Ability to build, maintain, and explain financial models, forecasts, dashboards, and presentations.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual budget process and long-term financial planning.
• Build financial models and forecasts for enrollment, tuition, aid, staffing, and capital needs.
• Monitor budget performance and communicate with department leaders.
• Manage external audit and GAAP/nonprofit accounting compliance.
• Provide financial and administrative oversight for operations, facilities, technology, and HR.
