Job summary

Bell & Associates, Inc. seeks a seasoned finance leader to oversee accounting, financial reporting, and internal controls for a growing multi-entity nonprofit.

You will mentor teams, partner with department leaders, and implement scalable shared-service processes to drive clarity and discipline in the numbers. The role blends strategic oversight with hands-on work, including budgeting, cash flow management, audits, and tax filings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5–7 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance, including leadership.
• Public accounting and nonprofit experience are strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting and forecasting processes and manage cash flow.
• Oversee day-to-day accounting functions including payroll, banking, and controls.
• Direct audits and tax filings (e.g., 1099s, Form 990).
• Develop and maintain strong internal controls and compliance.
• Build and scale shared-service models with a focus on quality and efficiency.
