Job summary

PIMCO in Newport Beach, CA is seeking an experienced professional to join its Fee Strategy team, supporting pricing governance, fee analysis, and strategic commercial decision-making across institutional, intermediary, and fund product channels.

You will partner with Legal, Client Billing, Fund Administration, and Operations to ensure accurate fee reporting, deliver actionable insights, and help evolve the framework with automation and AI-enabled solutions.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics or related analytical discipline.
Minimum 7 years of experience in asset management, investments, pricing, or related analytical function.
Strong understanding of investment management products and fee structures (mutual funds, sub-advisory mandates, institutional accounts).
Advanced Excel and analytical skills including large-scale data analysis, reconciliation, validation, and reporting.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to synthesize complex information for senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Lead the annual MFN review process with fee comparisons and documentation coordination with Legal.
Prepare and validate 15c fee analyses, Board exhibits, and required materials for governance.
Produce recurring/ad-hoc sub-advisory fee analyses for fund and institutional activities.
Coordinate data inputs across sources to ensure fee reporting accuracy and consistency.
Maintain Won/Lost/Pending reporting and related analytics to support pricing strategy.
Deliver management reports and insights to stakeholders and senior leaders.
