Job summary

Swift, a Reston, VA-based services and solutions company, seeks a Budget Analyst/Financial Analyst to support financial planning, budget formulation, and execution for mission-driven programs. You will develop and manage budgets, track performance, and ensure compliance with organizational priorities.

The ideal candidate has extensive federal budgeting experience and translates financial data into actionable insights for leadership and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Public Administration, or related field.
• Ten years of experience in budget formulation, financial tracking and execution, and financial reporting.
• Five years aligning budgets with federal submission processes and congressional justification.
• US citizenship and an active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop, analyze, and manage program budgets aligned with goals and mission requirements.
• Perform budget formulation, execution, and reconciliation across funding lines.
• Track financial performance, expenditures, and obligations for accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare financial reports, briefings, and leadership documentation.
• Support spend plan development and analysis to optimize resources.
