Job summary

Syngenta Seeds in Iowa seeks a Golden Harvest Strategic Farm Partner to manage key accounts farming 2,500+ acres. You will serve as the primary relationship manager, advising growers on products and digital tools to maximize yield and profitability.

Based in Central Iowa, you will develop touchpoints, lead negotiations, and connect farmers with Syngenta solutions to deliver win-win outcomes while building a broad network with agronomists, retailers and leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Economics, Business, Agronomy, or Agricultural Science.
• Minimum 3-5 years in production agriculture (Seed sales, Agronomy, Grain Origination, Crop Protection, Digital Ag).
• Must live in the territory and have 2,500+ acre grower experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop commercial execution for Central Iowa geography with Top Producer strategies.
• Leads relationship development and serves as the single point of contact.
• Pro-actively visit farmers to understand operations and needs (2,500+ acres).
• Provide early farm insights through analytics to help growers.
• Connect farmers to Syngenta solutions to solve pain points and day-to-day challenges.
• Create touchpoint plans to ensure a personalized experience for each farmer.
• Manage negotiations with farmers to strengthen relationships and optimize budget spend.
• Advise farmers on products, services, and solutions to maximize yield and profitability.
• Build a strong network of farmers, academics, agronomists, retailers and leadership.
