Qualifications
- JD from an accredited U.S. law school.
- Active Minnesota license in good standing.
- 3–5 years of family law or related litigation experience.
Responsibilities
- Develop case strategy and deadlines under supervision.
- Communicate with clients to gather information and explain options.
- Conduct legal research and analyze statutes, case law, and financial records.
- Draft pleadings, motions, affidavits, discovery, and settlement documents.
- Handle discovery and prepare for depositions and hearings.
- Prepare for conferences, hearings, mediations, and trials.
- Negotiate resolutions and assist with settlement agreements.
- Meet with prospective clients and assist with intake.
- Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and other experts.
