Job summary

Transition Projects, headquartered in Portland, OR, seeks a Facilities and Procurement Manager to lead procurement, facilities operations, asset and inventory management, and capital projects at Bud Clark Commons.

You will develop procurement processes, negotiate contracts, manage vendors, oversee maintenance, and ensure safety and efficiency while aligning with program goals and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain, procurement, facilities management, project management, or a related field.
• 2-3 years of relevant professional experience; valid driver’s license.
• Experience with procurement, supply chain, inventory, or asset management systems and tools, such as Oracle, SAP Ariba, Envision, or Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies.
• Source, evaluate, and engage reliable suppliers, vendors, and service providers.
• Negotiate, administer, and manage vendor contracts, leases, maintenance agreements, service-level agreements, and renewals.
• Develop and administer formal bid processes, including RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs, for facility-related projects and organizational purchases; evaluate responses and select vendors.
• Perform risk assessments on proposed contracts, agreements, and major purchases.
• Maintain procurement records and documentation in compliance with policies.
• Review invoices for contracted goods and services and coordinate approval and payment.
