Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least 3 years in purchasing or supply chain
• Experience with MRO purchasing in manufacturing
• Strong negotiation and analytical skills
• Ability to develop ROI analyses
• Proven supplier management and cost-reduction experience

Responsibilities

• Manage facilities MRO spare parts and supplier relationships.
• Plan inventory levels for plant operations and production.
• Procure MRO parts, consumables, maintenance supplies, tools per policies.
• Negotiate pricing and monitor supplier performance.
• Source new suppliers and obtain quotes via bids/proposals.
• Develop cost-reduction strategies through supplier negotiations.
• Collaborate with maintenance to identify critical parts and stocking levels.
• Maintain records, contracts, and purchasing documentation.
• Support budgeting and spend analysis for MRO inventory.
• Generate reports on supplier performance, stock turns, and cost savings.
