Job summary

You will oversee utilities, refurbishments, budgeting, and record-keeping while maintaining cost efficiency and high service levels.

Responsibilities

• Manage telecommunications, heat, electricity, plumbing, refurbishments and ensure they are well maintained.
• Ensure facilities meet government regulations and health, safety and security standards.
• Oversee building projects, renovations or refurbishments.
• Handle facility emergencies as they arise.
• Maintain equipment and supplies to meet health and safety standards.
• Inspect buildings' structures to determine repair or renovation needs.
• Review utilities consumption and strive to minimize costs.
• Supervise facilities staff and external contractors.
• Control activities such as parking, waste disposal, and building security.
• Handle service contracts including company leased and owned vehicles.
• Keep financial and non-financial records.
