Job summary

Ulta Beauty in Bolingbrook, IL is seeking an Engineering & Facilities Planning Purchaser to manage P&L, MRO planning, asset data, and spare parts inventory across maintenance software. You will roll out standard workflows, coordinate with multiple departments, and ensure procurement or parts availability.

The role requires 3–5 years in vendor management or purchasing in an industrial or distribution setting, strong enterprise-software knowledge, and clear communication with leadership.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3-5 years in administration of vendor relationships and management of P&L or purchasing/planner role.
• 3-5 years in an industrial or distribution environment.

Responsibilities

• Generate and manage purchase orders and P&L responsibilities for engineering and maintenance.
• Collaborate with suppliers for RFQ, proposals, invoicing, OEM documents, and pricing.
• Develop and maintain procurement spreadsheets and tracking systems.
• Respond to vendors for warranties, invoicing, quoting, accounts payable, and procurement actions.
• Support asset reliability tasks including maintenance scheduling and planning.
• Inventory management and cycle counts for spare parts with weekly reporting.
• Provide software trainings to end users of maintenance software.
• Serve as liaison for problem solving and escalation.
• Roll out standard object coding, preventive maintenance procedures and scheduling.
• Manage work orders with proper creation, planning, updates and closure.
• Analyze data on parts/assets and suggest software enhancements.
