Job summary

The Summit Area YMCA is seeking an experienced Facilities Director to provide strategic leadership over four buildings and three aquatic facilities. You will guide preventive maintenance, asset management, and long-range capital planning while collaborating with executive leadership and the Facilities Committee.

You will manage budgets, oversee renovations, and build a culture of safety and accountability, with a focus on sustainability and energy efficiency across all sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in facilities management, engineering, business, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive management experience in facility management.
• Experience managing multi-site or multi-building operations preferred, including aquatic facilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight of facilities operations across four buildings and three aquatic facilities.
• Develop preventive maintenance programs for building systems and aquatic facilities.
• Lead capital projects, asset lifecycle planning, and multi-year capital forecasts.
• Manage budgets and monitor project timelines, quality, and outcomes.
• Lead and develop facilities and housekeeping teams, ensuring safety and accountability.
• Coordinate vendor contracts, bids, and performance with internal stakeholders.
