Zusammenfassung

RK Industries, LLC seeks a Fabrication Sourcing Manager to build and manage a network of fabrication partners across Colorado, the Mountain West, and the United States. You will evaluate subcontract fabrication capabilities, develop strategic partnerships, and connect RK with resources for current and future projects.

You will develop market intelligence, visit facilities, and assess capacity, equipment, and quality systems.

Qualifikationen

• At least 5 years of working knowledge of pipe and/or structural steel fabrication shop operations, from fabrication through quality control and final inspection.
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills with the ability to quickly develop trust and credibility with owners, executives, and operations leaders.
• Proactive outreach, cold calls, networking, and negotiation experience in the fabrication marketplace.
• Technical aptitude to evaluate fabrication capabilities and work independently in field-based environments.

Aufgaben

• Build, maintain, and expand a network of qualified fabrication and manufacturing partners while developing relationships with owners, executives, estimators, operations leaders, and production teams.
• Evaluate fabrication partners through facility visits, assessing equipment, capacity, quality systems, safety, lead times, and delivery capabilities.
• Develop market intelligence on partner capabilities, capacity, certifications, equipment, and operational strengths to support partner selection.
• Identify and develop new strategic partnerships to ensure RK has qualified resources for opportunities.
• Serve as an internal subject matter expert on the subcontract fabrication market, providing recommendations based on project requirements and costs.
