Lockton is seeking a U.S. External Communications & Recognition Manager to lead and execute external communications priorities across earned media, awards, and communications operations.

This role requires strong collaboration, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. You will work with leaders, regional teams, and agency partners to amplify Lockton's expertise and protect the firm's reputation.

Formación

• 4-5 years in public relations, external communications, or related field.
• Experience supporting media relations programs or campaigns.
• Experience managing awards, rankings, or corporate submissions.
• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading with audience tailoring.
• Exceptional project management and organizational skills.
• Experience coordinating with multiple stakeholders and deadlines.
• Familiarity with media databases, monitoring tools, and editorial calendars.
• Experience with external communications agencies and partners.

Responsabilidades

• Draft and edit external communications materials: press releases, pitches, fact sheets, biographies, talking points.
• Develop and maintain targeted media lists across industry, trade, business, and national media.
• Coordinate press release distribution and related logistics.
• Monitor earned media coverage and maintain dashboards and trackers.
• Manage annual awards and rankings calendar and submissions.
• Develop executive visibility materials and LinkedIn content with agency partners.
• Support communications operations, budgeting, vendor coordination, and process improvements.
