Job summary

Silver Creek Church in Aurora, OH is seeking an Executive Pastor to partner with the Lead Pastor by directing and aligning all ministry teams. The role translates the church’s vision into actionable strategies and ensures staff are equipped, supported, and aligned to lead families to discover life in Jesus.

The position requires deep ministry leadership, ten or more years of experience, and a bachelor's degree (master's preferred).

Qualifications

• Requires a life of integrity grounded in Gospel transformation.
• Extensive ministry leadership experience with staff development.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; Master’s degree or equivalent experience valued.
• Ability to lead strategically while maintaining relational connections.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide coaching, encouragement, accountability, and leadership development for ministry directors and pastors.
• Translate vision into ministry strategies, goals, and action plans.
• Oversee ministry departments to ensure alignment with mission and values.
• Lead regular ministry staff meetings focused on communication and growth.
• Develop systems and structures supporting healthy ministry growth.
