Job summary

U.S. Engineering is seeking a Director of Strategy to partner with the President in turning the strategic plan into repeatable workflows across Project Development, Site Operations and DfMA. The role owns cross-functional handoffs, monitoring progress and communicating rhythm across leadership.

You will drive standardization, performance visibility and intercompany collaboration, reporting to the executive team and influencing without direct authority.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, construction management, engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in management of strategy and cross functional team collaboration.
• Demonstrated success standardizing processes or leading change across multiple teams without direct authority over them.
• Strong written and verbal communication, including presenting to executive and field audiences.
• Technically proficient in Excel, Power BI, Salesforce, and similar analytical software.

Responsibilities

• Translate USEI's strategic plan into a tracked portfolio of initiatives with owners, milestones and measures.
• Run a monthly initiative review with the Innovations Management Team and report status quarterly.
• Lead preparation and follow-through for leadership summits and annual strategic planning cycle.
• Map and standardize major handoffs between functions and drive adoption of standard workflows.
• Maintain a library of standard processes, templates and playbooks and retire duplicates.
• Design the operating rhythm to keep the three functions aligned: meetings, decisions, escalation paths.
• Own internal communication of strategy and change for leaders and teams.
• Partner with HR Director to interpret engagement survey results and team feedback.
