Job summary

The University of Chicago’s Institute for Climate and Sustainable Growth seeks a Senior Program Coordinator to manage visitor programs and recurring seminar series within the Events team. You will coordinate speakers, participants, travel, and logistics while supporting broader programs and engagement activities.

Reporting to the Manager, Institute Events and Visitor Program, you will collaborate across departments to ensure seamless event operations, high-quality visitor experiences, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead coordination and logistical management of Institute visitors, scholars, and affiliated guests.
• Serve as primary point of contact for visitors before and during their time at the Institute.
• Collaborate with leadership and other units to support engagement, onboarding, and processes.
• Maintain visitor calendars, space assignments, and tracking systems.
• Coordinate recurring seminars (EPIC Weekly, CSEi Monthly) and other programs.
• Plan and execute speaker engagement, travel, accommodations, scheduling, and materials.
• Manage program calendars, timelines, and processes aligned with priorities.
• Provide onsite operational leadership for assigned programs and events.
• Track expenses, process invoices, and assist with reconciliation.
