Job summary

McKinsey & Company in North America seeks an experienced events professional to advise and lead on executing a portfolio of client meetings. You will coordinate with event stakeholders to ensure flawless delivery, manage budgets, and travel to planning sites and events as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
• 6+ years' experience in strategic meeting planning in a professional services environment.
• Demonstrated credible leadership, analytics, problem-solving, project management, and communication skills.
• Ability to offer new ideas, constructively challenge conventional wisdom, and work collaboratively.
• Ability to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Play an active strategic advisory role across client events, ensuring event managers and vendors execute in line with the event vision and goals.
• Varying involvement from hands-on project management to high-level advisory support, including budget oversight across the portfolio of meetings.
• Advise and lead on the execution of a portfolio of meetings, focused initially on firm client events.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for internal clients and understand event team roles and pipelines to support operations.
• Support internal stakeholders and event managers by providing creative inspiration to integrate the event location and firm messaging into programs.
