Capital One is seeking a Principal Associate, Project Manager for CFI&I Strategic Events & Convenings in McLean, VA. You will lead end-to-end planning, design and delivery of high-stakes engagements and executive roundtables, balancing meticulous detail with strategic impact.

The role partners with Community Finance and Community Impact & Investment, coordinating with executives, vendors and internal teams to shape event concepts, manage budgets, and elevate the guest experience.

Qualifications

• Background in project management, CX, and/or large-scale event planning.
• Ability to build consensus quickly across matrixed teams.
• Strong budgeting, vendor management, and ROI focus.

Responsibilities

• Lead full-lifecycle planning of strategic events, summits, and executive roundtables.
• Oversee budgets, forecasts, vendor contracts, and procurement to maximize ROI.
• Ensure best-in-class guest experience and seamless on-site execution.
• Translate enterprise goals into actionable event concepts and playbooks.
• Collaborate across Community Finance, Community Impact & Investment, and external partners.
