Job summary

Körber Pharma Packaging Materials is hiring a Print and Packaging Estimating & Purchasing Manager for our Camden, NJ plant. This role leads the estimating team to determine production costs and develop competitive quotations.

You will source paperboard, labels, inks, and packaging materials, negotiate terms with suppliers, and collaborate with Sales, Production, and Quality to meet deadlines and maintain quality.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in print estimating, purchasing, procurement, or related packaging manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• You will lead and support the estimating team in reviewing and interpreting job specifications to determine production requirements and accurate manufacturing costs.
• You will determine economical manufacturing methods while meeting customer specifications and quality standards.
• You will oversee the preparation and maintenance of competitive quotations and proposals to support business growth.
• You will source, negotiate, and procure paperboard, paper, labels, inks, coatings, and packaging materials for production.
• You will negotiate pricing, terms, lead times, and service agreements with suppliers to ensure cost-effective purchasing.
