Qualifications

• Read and interpret manufacturing drawings, specifications, and customer requirements.
• Negotiate professionally and confidently with vendors.
• Gather and validate information from multiple departments and suppliers.
• Understand the relationship between materials, tooling, outside services, lead times, production requirements, and final job cost.
• Maintain accurate records and follow established procedures.

Responsibilities

• Review RFQs and determine whether opportunity is new or repeat work.
• Research previous quotes, pricing, run history, cycle times, material usage, tooling, and outside service requirements.
• Review drawings, specifications, customer requirements, material needs, quality requirements, and other inputs.
• Build accurate quote worksheets using information from internal departments and suppliers.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Production, Quality, Customer Service, and Management to develop quoting approaches.
• Obtain information for final pricing review and approval.
