Qualifications

• 4+ years of related experience in preconstruction, estimating, or commercial construction project management.
• Strong ability to read, interpret, and navigate plans and specifications.
• Experience developing conceptual budgets and progressive design‑phase estimates.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, etc.).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to lead bid leveling, trade scoping, and procurement preparation.
• Proficiency with plan review tools such as Bluebeam (or similar).

Responsibilities

• Lead preconstruction activities from early budgeting through GMP development.
• Collaborate with owners, architects, engineers, and trade partners to align scope.
• Develop conceptual budgets and provide cost, constructability input.
• Prepare detailed estimates at each design milestone and create final budgets.
• Coordinate transition to operations for buyout and construction.
• Mentor and train preconstruction staff and promote cross‑team collaboration.
• Support business development through industry events and client engagement.
