Job summary

Layton Construction seeks a seasoned ESH professional to implement corporate, field, and office safety policies across projects. You will lead safety programs, supervise audits, and coordinate with OSHA, MSHA, EPA, and project teams to ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Environmental Safety & Health with 5+ years of ESH experience and strong communication, problem-solving, and coaching abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Safety & Health or related field.
• 5+ years of ESH experience required.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, MSHA, DOT, EPA regulations.
• Accreditations preferred: CHST, ASP, CSP, ICRA.
• CCIP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety programs on multiple projects and sites.
• Review and interpret regulatory policies and provide guidance.
• Develop and implement safety improvements and training.
• Oversee audits, incident reviews, and data analysis to identify risks.
• Coordinate with agencies (OSHA, EPA, MSHA) and project teams.
• Support injury management and cost control.
