Relativity seeks an Employee Relations Specialist to serve as a trusted advisor overseeing complex ER matters with legal fluency and a focus on organizational health. This Senior role leads end-to-end investigations, works with Legal and HRBPs, and strives for defensible, fair outcomes while strengthening Relativity’s culture as we scale.

The position emphasizes partnership with Legal and senior leadership, multi-state and global policy application, and evidence-based risk mitigation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in HR with at least 3 years in Employee Relations or compliance
• Experience leading workplace investigations from intake to resolution
• Working knowledge of multi-state employment law and regulatory requirements
• Ability to manage high-risk, sensitive cases with discretion and sound judgment
• Strong written communication for legally-defensible documentation

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end investigations into complex ER matters and provide findings and recommendations
• Advise on high-risk performance processes and disciplinary actions with structured frameworks
• Collaborate with Legal to manage risk, escalation thresholds, and compliance
• Ensure consistent policy application across regions and global operations
• Coach managers on performance conversations, documentation, and escalation
• Provide real-time ER case consultation to HRBPs and leadership
• Analyze ER data to identify patterns and drive playbook improvements
• Design scalable tools and templates to improve ER handling
