Job summary

Citi seeks a VP/AVP level Trader for the Strategic Equity Solutions Fund Financing Trading Desk (NAV & LP-Interest Lending). The role focuses on asset analysis, collateral evaluation, and portfolio risk monitoring to support trade decisions.

You will perform quantitative modeling, track sponsor data, and work with Fund Finance to ensure accurate valuations and robust controls. This senior desk role is based in New York and offers a competitive salary.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required; master's preferred.
• Experience in structured credit, fund finance, or financing/trading analytics.
• Strong quantitative modeling and valuation cross-checks.

Responsibilities

• Analyze portfolios and assets; evaluate collateral and red flags.
• Source public and sponsor data; assess sponsor reporting quality.
• Reconcile borrowings to audited data and loan docs.
• Set up monthly/quarterly post-closing reporting and dashboards.
• Track market data and credit marks; surface divergences.
• Build cash-flow models and stress tests for portfolios.
• Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, Risk, and Finance to ensure controls.
