You will mentor staff, manage budgets, and drive EMS-related initiatives. The position requires extensive regulatory experience, a bachelor’s in environmental fields, and proven leadership in complex projects.

Qualifications

• Reading and interpreting legal documents, regulations and permits.
• Experience with EPA, state and local environmental requirements.
• Preferred BS in Environmental fields and related disciplines.
• Ability to plan, organize and manage teams and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements environmental regulatory compliance policy and guidelines.
• Stays current on regulatory changes through research and training.
• Provides strategic leadership on environmental matters and communications.
• Consults with managers to reflect regulatory changes in operations.
• Establishes an audit schedule and oversees field inspections for compliance.
• Leads environmental remediation and oversees external consultants.
