Job summary

barrowwise is seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect in Washington, DC to design and develop business capability models and align IT strategies with business goals. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience in enterprise architecture, enterprise architecture certifications, and a strong grasp of the transit industry.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship is required.
• 10 years' experience as an enterprise architect using standard architectural frameworks.
• 5 years must be in the supervision of major projects.
• Must demonstrate a broad understanding of client IT environmental issues and solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop business capability models and processes.
• Align IT strategy with WMATA's business goals.
• Create the strategic roadmap for platforms/systems.
• Develop and maintain enterprise architecture.

Skills

Enterprise Architecture certification (CEA, TOGAF)

Experience in design and development of Enterprise Business Architecture

Advanced abilities to team and mentor

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Experience with enterprise architecture repositories and tools (Abacus)

Ability to perform qualitative and quantitative analyses

Education

Bachelor's degree in related discipline or equivalent experience
