Job summary

Texas Department of Transportation seeks an Enterprise Data Governance Analyst in Austin, TX to support the enterprise governance roadmap and enhance data quality, accessibility, and decision-making across spatial and non-spatial data domains.

The role requires governance policy development, analytics, stakeholder engagement, and creation of governance artifacts while collaborating with divisions and leadership to advance statewide data management capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Management, Communications or related field.
• 2 years experience in business analysis, methods analysis, strategic planning, project management or related function.
• Licenses and Certifications: Valid driver’s license. This position requires driving a state vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement enterprise data governance policies, standards, processes, and training materials.
• Perform data analytics, GIS governance activities, data quality assessments and governance maturity evaluations.
• Collaborate with divisions, districts, leadership, and governance committees to improve data value and reliability.
