Job summary

Donaldson is seeking a Data Architect to shape its enterprise data future. You will join a re-established Enterprise Architecture team, partnering with business and engineering to solve real business challenges and drive transformation across data, AI, and cloud technologies.

You will work in a Hybrid US schedule, influence executive decisions, and lead data strategy, governance, and modern cloud implementations at a global manufacturing scale.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Data or Enterprise Architecture.
• 3+ years of Snowflake experience.
• Strong expertise in cloud data platforms (Azure preferred).
• Experience with Data Warehouses, Data Lakes, MDM, and Data Governance.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience).

Responsibilities

• You'll define and drive Donaldson’s enterprise data architecture by developing the enterprise data strategy and roadmap.
• Designing scalable cloud-based data architectures and platforms.
• Leading Master Data Management (MDM) initiatives.
• Building trusted, governed data solutions for analytics and AI.
• Establishing enterprise data governance, quality, and architecture standards.
• Partnering with business leaders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Architecting modern data solutions using Snowflake, Azure, Oracle, APIs, and streaming technologies.
• Serving as a trusted advisor on enterprise data investments and strategy.
