Job summary

Bio-Rad Laboratories in Hercules, CA is seeking a Communications Specialist to support day-to-day enterprise communications, manage channels, coordinate the editorial calendar, and write content for campaigns across the company.

This role is well suited to someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and excited to help establish best practices, world-class processes, and measurement standards as the function is being built.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in communications or related field.
• 3+ years related experience.
• Strong written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day communications channels (intranet, email distribution lists, and collaboration platforms).
• Own and maintain the enterprise editorial calendar, coordinating content submissions, scheduling, and publishing across business units and functions.
• Write, edit, and develop content for communications campaigns and initiatives, including articles, emails, and announcements.
• Coordinate broad distribution of company-wide communications, ensuring the right message reaches the right audience at the right time.
• Partner with stakeholders across the business to gather updates, align on messaging, and keep communications plans coordinated.
• Track and report on communications metrics and channel performance to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Support the development of communications best practices, templates, and processes as the Corporate Communications function is being built.
