Job summary

Cognizant is seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to lead design, governance, and modernization of enterprise infrastructure across large IT environments. You will define current, transition, and future-state architectures, driving data center, storage, and DR platform improvements.

The role requires deep expertise in architecture standards, roadmaps, and cross-functional collaboration with business leaders, engineering, and security teams to align technology with business goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Engineering or related field.
• 15+ years in enterprise infrastructure architecture or related roles.
• Experience designing and governing large-scale environments.

Responsibilities

• Define current, transition, and target-state enterprise architectures.
• Govern architecture principles, standards, and roadmaps for data center, storage, and DR.
• Lead architecture reviews for cloud adoption and modernization initiatives.
• Evaluate options for scalability, security, cost, and performance.
• Ensure resilience, disaster recovery, and continuity requirements.
• Drive technology selection and vendor evaluations for strategic investments.
• Collaborate across teams to maintain governance throughout projects.
• Document architecture decisions, artifacts, and reference models.
• Provide senior technical leadership during incidents and upgrades.
• Identify automation opportunities and drive continuous improvement.
